The first time I talked to Ellie on the phone, I wasn’t sure what to make of her. Being completely honest here, she came off like she was my best friend. And normally that’s a big red flag for me, because we’d known each other for all of five minutes. But at the same time it seemed 100% sincere and the skeptic in me wasn’t sure what to do.
And then I met her, and came to believe that she just might be the sweetest person to ever walk this earth. She’s super bubbly, yet completely down to earth and she immediately makes you want to be a better version of yourself. And that’s not something you encounter every day.
And then I met James. He’s the opposite of Ellie, but not in a bad way. He’s a lot like me. He’s very down to earth, but also very reserved and quiet. He takes a while to warm up to you, and getting him to smile is pretty much impossible unless Ellie is there.
Together they balance each other perfectly.
After spending just an hour with them at a coffee shop in Boulder, I knew we were a perfect match and I couldn’t wait for their Sunrise Amphitheater wedding!
