No one will argue that a wedding photo shoot is an interesting and exciting activity. But often it is only for the newlyweds and the photographer.

Guests, as a rule, are bored and can’t wait to start the wedding banquet.

So that your friends and relatives have something to occupy themselves during the wedding photo session, think in advance what to entertain them while you pose on the background of beautiful scenery and archetypes.

Picnic
The simplest, but no less effective way to occupy your guests is to organize a picnic with appetizers and champagne. The witnesses should be the main ones here: while the young people are being photographed, they can get the fruit, sandwiches, and drinks prepared in advance.

Wishes
Make a special book of wishes for your guests, where everyone can write warm words. Wishes can be in the form of a beautiful album, individual sheets or a large piece of wadded paper. It is a good chance for every invited person to write something that he/she can’t or won’t be too shy to say on the banquet microphone.

Wishes do not have to be in writing. Alternatively, they can be videotaped and made into a beautiful touching clip or complemented with them in a wedding movie.

History of acquaintance
Let each of the guests tell how and under what circumstances they met the bride and groom. All of this, again, can be filmed. Your friends will be pleased to remember old stories, to be nostalgic, to laugh. And relatives are likely to be interested to know how in the life of their relatives appeared so different and loyal friends. You can prepare a prize for the most unusual story of acquaintance.

Excursion
If your wedding has many guests from other cities, you can arrange a small sightseeing tour for them. They will enjoy walking around, getting to know the new city, and learning more about its history and culture. One of the options for an excursion can be a trip along the rivers and canals in a cozy river streetcar, on board of which a small buffet can be arranged.

Letters to the future
Prepare in advance beautifully decorated sheets of paper and envelopes. Let each guest write what they would like to say to you in the future, warm words and wishes, and on the envelope put the date when the letter should be opened (it can be a wedding anniversary, the birth of the first child or a certain year).

Second Photographer.
Ask your wedding photographer to bring an assistant or hire a second photographer, and have a mini photo shoot with your guests. Prepare a few accessories to help make the photo shoot fun and varied. These can be balloons, masks, signs, soap bubbles, mustaches and pince-nez on a stick, etc.

As you can see, there can be many options on how to entertain guests during the wedding walk. The main rule is not to overdo it, so that your friends and relatives will still have the strength to have fun and dance at the banquet!
